Nissan Rogue Back Door Won T Open

I have removed the plastic access panel on the interior of the door and tried manually moving the plastic button to the right to read more.

I am now at dealership again to reset it. The 2009 nissan rogue has 8 problems reported for doors won t open from the outside. Took the car to have the window and wiper control replaced. Recently the hatch back door will not open.

Anyone know how to reset this without having to go to dealer. I own a nissan rogue 2009. Glitchy for a long time always opened eventually with a ritual of locking unlocking using the remote lock on the door etc. I dealt with the problem by installing a remote starter so it could warm up before i went to unlock the door.

If the hatch is closed on something it jams and won t open. I guess if you manually stop the automatic open close this issue occurs. Just the ball wire comes off the groove. Same thing happened again when i was testing it out and manually stopped the door from closing.

I have a 2016 nissan rogue. Average failure mileage is 75 500 miles.
